Hot Rolled ASTM A36 Carbon Steel Plate MS Structural Steel

A non‑alloy, mild carbon structural steel produced to the ASTM A36 specification, supplied as hot‑rolled plate for general structural and fabrication uses. A36 hot‑rolled plate is chosen where reliable strength, good weldability and cost efficiency are required for large fabrications and structural members.

• Conforms to ASTM A36 chemical and mechanical requirements: good balance of strength and ductility (minimum yield ≈ 250 MPa / 36 ksi; typical tensile range ≈ 400–550 MPa / 58–80 ksi).
• Hot‑rolled surface with mill scale; available with optional surface treatments (pickling, shot‑blasting, priming or galvanizing) and precision cutting.
