High-strength, non-alloy structural steel plates manufactured to EN 10025-4 standards. S275M is a thermomechanically rolled structural steel grade designed for welded and bolted structural applications where consistent mechanical properties and improved toughness are required.

  • Standard: EN 10025-4 (thermomechanically rolled fine grain structural steels)
  • Grade: S275M (nominal minimum yield strength ≈ 275 MPa for the relevant thickness ranges)
  • Delivery condition: Thermomechanically rolled (designation “M”)
  • Mechanical and impact properties: Supplied to the delivery and impact-test requirements of EN 10025-4; impact-tested variants are specified to meet minimum energy requirements at designated temperatures (e.g., down to −50 °C where required and indicated in the grade designation)
  • Dimensions & tolerances: Manufactured and supplied to the dimensional, shape and tolerance requirements of the EN 10025 series (cut-to-length and custom sizes available)
  • Processing: Available as hot-rolled plates; cutting options include sawing, flame cutting and other shop-processing services on request

Typical applications

  • Structural steelwork (buildings, frames, columns, beams)
  • Bridges and civil engineering structures
  • Pressure equipment and general fabrication where weldability and reliable yield strength are essential
  • Other heavy engineering and construction uses

Supply options and advantages

  • Batch traceability and material certification per standard industry practices available on request
  • Custom plate sizes, thicknesses and cutting services to meet project requirements
  • Suitable for welding and standard fabrication processes; good balance of strength, toughness and formability
