High-quality chrome–molybdenum (Cr–Mo) pressure‑vessel steel plate manufactured to EN 10028-2 Grade 16Mo3 specification. These flat products are engineered for use at elevated temperatures and in pressure-containing applications where improved creep strength and high‑temperature resistance are required.

Key features

  • Conforms to EN 10028-2 (Grade 16Mo3); commonly specified as a pressure‑vessel Cr–Mo alloy steel
  • Recognized equivalents include DIN 17155 (15Mo3) and UNI 5869 (15Mo3)
  • Improved high‑temperature performance: molybdenum increases creep strength and resistance to pitting, while chromium enhances resistance to high‑temperature hydrogen attack
  • Supplied as flat products (steel plates) suitable for fabrication into pressure vessels, boilers, heat exchangers, piping and other elevated‑temperature equipment

Available sizes (typical stock offering)

  • Thickness: 4 mm to 220 mm
  • Width: 1,200 mm to 4,000 mm
  • Length: 3,000 mm to 18,000 mm
  • Stock availability: approx. 1,000 tonnes (subject to change)

Supply notes

  • Supplied as plate material per EN 10028-2; available for cutting, sawing and further processing according to buyer requirements (confirm available services at time of RFQ)
  • Commonly ordered by engineering, fabrication and procurement teams for pressure‑retaining components operating at elevated temperatures

For quotation and lead‑time information, please submit an RFQ specifying required dimensions, quantity, any certification needs (e.g., material test certificates to EN standards), and delivery destination.
