High-grade pressure-vessel steel plate manufactured to EN 10028-2 (grade 16Mo3), engineered for elevated-temperature and high-pressure applications. 16Mo3 is a low-alloy steel containing molybdenum that combines good creep resistance, reliable high-temperature strength and excellent weldability — making it suitable for welded boiler and pressure-vessel fabrication.
Key features
- Conforms to EN 10028-2 specification for pressure-vessel steels (grade 16Mo3).
- Commonly accepted equivalents: DIN 17155 (15Mo3), NFA 36-205 (15D3), UNI 5869 (15Mo3), BS 1501 (15o3–243B), UNE 36087 (16Mo3), and references to ASTM A204 where applicable.
- Designed for fabrication: good weldability, formability and dimensional stability after heat treatment.
