Seamless, heat-resistant alloy steel tubes manufactured to DIN 17175 in grade 13CrMo44, engineered for high-temperature, high-pressure process systems.
- Standard: DIN 17175
- Steel grade: 13CrMo44 (heat-resistant low-alloy steel)
- Chemical elements covered by the standard: C, Si, Mn, P (≤), S (≤), Cr (see DIN 17175 for limits)
- Dimensions: available in a range of diameters and wall thicknesses (wall thicknesses up to 28 mm). Contact us with required OD × T for availability and lead time.
- Surface finish: oiled or black painted to protect against rust during storage and transport
- Marking: supplied per customer specification
Delivery condition and heat treatment
Tubes are supplied suitably heat treated over their full cross section. Available heat-treatment options (per material/part specification) include:
- Normalizing
- Subcritical annealing
- Hardening and tempering with continuous cooling from the hardening temperature
- Hardening and tempering with isothermal treatment
Typical applications
Designed for use in boilers, steam headers, high-temperature pipelines, pressure vessels and equipment operating up to approximately 600 °C under simultaneous high pressures and cyclic or sustained stresses.
Commercial and quality options
- Custom cutting, end finishing and packaging available for bulk and project orders
- Inspection and test documentation available on request (e.g., material certificates, heat-treatment records, mechanical and chemical test reports)
For a precise quotation, please provide required OD × wall thickness, quantity, delivery terms and any required inspection/certification.
