- Heat treatment and testing: Heat treatment may be applied as required to meet mechanical properties or applicable codes. Mechanical properties (yield, tensile, elongation, weld tensile) and additional testing/examination can be furnished per ASTM A671 and purchaser’s supplementary requirements.
