High-temperature pressure-grade carbon steel plate engineered for components that operate at elevated temperatures (service up to ~450 °C). Supplied in a hot‑rolled, normalized condition, this P250GH boiler steel plate is specified for pressure equipment and power-plant applications where good strength, ductility and impact resistance at moderate elevated temperatures are required.

Key features

  • Designed for use in pressure vessels, boilers and related parts: flanges, pipe joints, bolts, nuts and other power-plant subassemblies.
  • Supplied hot‑rolled and normalized to provide consistent mechanical properties and dimensional stability.
  • Suitable for fabrication, welding and standard pressure-equipment manufacturing processes.

Typical mechanical properties (as supplied)

  • Thickness < 50 mm: Tensile strength Rm 410–540 MPa; yield Rp0.2 > 250 MPa; elongation A > 25%
  • Thickness 50–100 mm: Tensile strength Rm 410–540 MPa; yield Rp0.2 > 240 MPa; elongation A > 25%
  • Thickness 100–150 mm: Tensile strength Rm 410–540 MPa; yield Rp0.2 > 230 MPa; elongation A > 25%
  • Impact energy (KV at 20 °C): > 47 J

Applications

  • Pressure vessel shells and heads
  • Boiler components and fittings
  • Flanges, couplings and pipe joints
  • Fasteners (bolts, nuts) used in high-temperature pressure systems

Ordering and supply

Available for quotation in plate form; standard commercial lengths and thickness ranges typically supplied hot‑rolled and normalized. For specific dimensions, surface finish, testing certificates (e.g., material certificates, mechanical test reports or heat-treatment records) and packaging options, request a formal quotation with required specifications.
