Boiler steel Q245R hot rolled plate

High-strength Q245R hot-rolled boiler steel plate designed for pressure equipment and high-temperature service. Supplied to GB/T 713 specifications, these carbon steel plates are engineered for fabrication of boilers, pressure vessels, heat exchangers and other welded pressure-containing components used in shipbuilding, petrochemical, power generation and heavy manufacturing.

Quality & inspection notes

• Plates >50 mm are commonly supplied in the normalized condition where required by the standard or purchaser specifications
• For multi-layer containers or plates thicker than ~60 mm, heat-treated plates may be subject to tensile and V-notch (impact) testing as specified in the standard and purchase order
• Chemical analysis, mechanical testing and MTC are available; additional inspection (UT, PMI or third-party inspection) can be arranged by agreement
