A709Gr50 Alloy Steel Plates Supplier

High-strength, low-alloy structural steel plate engineered for bridges and heavy civil and industrial structures. A709 Grade 50 is produced to meet A709/A709M requirements and is formulated for excellent weldability, toughness and high yield strength required in bridge building and structural applications.

Key features

• Conforms to A709/A709M implementation standard; commonly referenced as A709Gr50 (345), A709Gr50S (345S) and A709Gr50W (345W).
• Available variants include atmospheric-corrosion-resistant and higher-strength grades such as A709GrHPS70W (485W) and A709Gr100 (690).
• Plate thickness range: 8–400 mm. Supplied with fixed rolling length and width upon request.
• Manufactured and inspected to domestic and international test standards on request (examples include China JB4730 / GB/T2970 and various international equivalents). Third-party inspection levels (first, second and third level) can be arranged.
• Chemical composition and mechanical properties are controlled to meet A709 specification limits for elements including C, Si, Mn, P, S and Nb and the corresponding yield/tensile requirements called out in A709 for Grade 50.
