A53Gr.B Electric Resistance Welded ERW Pipes

Carbon steel ERW pipes manufactured to ASTM A53 Grade B (Type E) standard. These electric-resistance-welded (ERW) pipes are produced from continuous coils with a longitudinal weld seam that is heat-treated after welding to a minimum temperature of 540°C to ensure weld quality and consistent mechanical properties.

Packing and shipment

• Plastic plugs in both ends
• Hexagonal bundles (~2,000 kg typical) secured with steel straps
• Two identification tags per bundle
• Wrapped in waterproof paper, PVC sleeve and/or sackcloth, with additional steel strapping for export

• Manufacturer operates under ISO 9001 (certificate referenced in product listing)
• Mill test certificates and test reports supplied with shipments (chemical and mechanical test reports available)
