A387 Grade 11 Class 1 Steel Plates

ASTM A387 Grade 11 Class 1 chromium-molybdenum steel plates engineered for high-temperature pressure-service applications. The elevated chromium content provides improved oxidation and corrosion resistance, while the alloy composition and heat treatment deliver high tensile strength, good weldability and long service life in demanding industrial environments.

• Conforms to ASTM A387 Grade 11 Class 1 specification; equivalents referenced by supplier: BS 622-515B, EN 10CrMo910 (DIN 10CrMo910).
• Resistant to oxidation, pitting, crevice corrosion and stress-corrosion cracking in many high-temperature and corrosive atmospheres.
• High tensile strength and toughness with stable dimensional accuracy and consistent surface finish.
• Available surface finishes: hot-rolled plate (HR) and cold-rolled sheet (CR).
• Offered forms: plates, sheets and coils; specialty items available such as shim sheets and perforated sheets.
