High-strength chromium–molybdenum alloy steel plates manufactured to meet ASTM A387 (Grade 12), offered in both Class 1 and Class 2 conditions for pressure-vessel and elevated-temperature service.

Key features

• Manufactured and rolled in accordance with ASTM A20/A20M and ASTM A387/A387M requirements.
• Alloy type: chromium–molybdenum (ASTM A387 Grade 12).
• Classes: Class 1 and Class 2 available; Class 1 plates are supplied normalized and tempered as required.
• Non-destructive testing: ultrasonic examination performed to ASTM A578 Level B to ensure internal soundness.
• Typical applications: pressure vessels, boilers, heat exchangers, petrochemical and power-generation equipment, and other high-temperature, high-pressure components.
