YHS Hand diaphragm pump manual membrane pump with hand wheel

A hand-operated diaphragm (membrane) pump designed for reliable, leak-free transfer of liquids where electric power is impractical or unsafe. The operator turns a hand wheel (or turbine) to drive one or two diaphragms in synchronous reciprocation. Diaphragm deformation alternately increases and decreases chamber volume so inlet and outlet one-way valves open and close, producing continuous suction and discharge without rotary seals or shaft penetrations.

Construction and operation notes

• Pump components include body, inlet/outlet piping, one-way inlet/outlet valves, diaphragm(s) and push rod/hand-wheel drive.
• Available in single- or double-chamber configurations; diaphragms may be centrally or externally arranged depending on model.
• No irrigation water or external priming required in normal operation. If the outlet is blocked, the pump is protected from damage due to its pressure-regulating behaviour.
