Automatic coupling device (quick-connect outlet flange)

• The included automatic coupling assembly connects the pump outlet flange to the system pipe flange without manual bolting. An additional coupling flange mates with the outlet-pipe inlet flange using paired wedge clamps on both sides.
• During lowering, the pump’s weight forces the wedge clamps to engage and tighten the two flange faces, producing a reliable pressure seal that resists system head pressure and prevents flange leakage.
• When lifting the pump for inspection or service, the wedges disengage easily along the inclined surfaces allowing quick, tool-free disconnection and removal.
