Designed for structural applications in marine and offshore construction, this AH36-equivalent plate delivers a combination of high yield/tensile strength, good toughness and reliable weldability required for hull plating, decks, bulkheads and other primary structural members.

• Compliance: Manufactured to meet KR (Korean Register) AH36 requirements; comparable to ABS/AISI A131 AH36 grades when specified.
• Mechanical properties (typical ranges):
  • Tensile strength: 440–590 MPa
  • Minimum yield strength: 315 MPa
  • Elongation (200 mm): ≥19%
  • Elongation (50 mm): ≥22%
• Production and heat treatment options: As-rolled / control-rolled / TMCP / normalized (normalizing recommended where specified by purchaser or project requirements).
• Dimensions available:
  • Thickness: 3 mm to 280 mm
  • Width: 1,200 mm to 4,200 mm
  • Length: 3,000 mm to 18,000 mm
• Surface and deliverables: Hot-rolled plates supplied in standard mill finishes; can be cut-to-size or processed to project specifications upon request.
• Performance characteristics: High strength, good low-temperature toughness, acceptable corrosion resistance for marine structural use, and good weldability with common welding procedures used in shipbuilding.
