Grade 09CuPCrNi-B Weathering Steel Plate

A weathering steel plate engineered with small additions of copper, chromium and nickel to develop a protective oxide patina in atmospheric exposure. This patina reduces corrosion rates compared with ordinary carbon steel, extending component life and lowering maintenance and replacement costs for outdoor and exposed structures.

• Comparable/related weathering and atmospheric corrosion-resistant grades include Q235NH, Q345NH, Q355NH and specialized high-strength weathering grades (examples: Q235GJ*, Q345GJ* series)

• Suitable for conventional welding and fabrication; follow standard procedures for welding weathering steels to maintain corrosion performance
