FRP self-priming seawater pump

Fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) self-priming pump engineered for corrosion-resistant transfer of seawater and a wide range of non-oxidizing corrosive liquids. The SZ series uses modified phenolic FRP flow components molded at high temperature to deliver a lightweight, high-strength pumping unit with excellent chemical and temperature resistance (service temperature up to 100°C under recommended conditions).

• Corrosion-resistant FRP construction: modified phenolic fiberglass-reinforced plastic flow parts resist saltwater and many acids while remaining dimensionally stable and lightweight.
• Self-priming design: integrated liquid suction chamber, liquid storage chamber, back-check valve and reflux hole provide reliable self-priming performance (suction lift up to 4 m) without a foot valve, simplifying piping and installation.
• Robust sealing: fitted with an external WB2 / F4 corrugated mechanical seal for reliable sealing and extended service life.
• Operational advantages: low friction losses, high transport capacity, good adaptability to system conditions, simple construction and straightforward maintenance.

Installation and maintenance notes

• Prior to start-up, fill the pump body with liquid and purge trapped air from the suction piping; the pump is designed to prime itself once the casing is charged.
• Observe liquid compatibility and temperature limits for FRP and the specified mechanical seal to maximize service life.
• Routine inspection of the mechanical seal and suction/check components is recommended to sustain priming performance and prevent downtime.
