Elastomeric supports for bridges

Elastomeric supports designed to transmit vertical loads and allow relative movements (displacement and rotation) between structural elements, such as slabs and beams in bridges, buildings, vessels, and industrial installations. They are manufactured in elastomers such as natural rubber, neoprene or EPDM, and, when required, in laminated configurations with metal plates to increase load capacity and control deformation.

Main features

• Materias: natural rubber, neoprene (CR), EPDM or other elastomers depending on service requirements.
• Typologies: solid elastomer bearings and laminated bearings with steel plates (laminated or with anchoring bolts), adaptable to structural needs.
• Function: transmission of vertical loads, accommodation of expansion/contraction movements and rotations, vibration damping and possible partial seismic isolation depending on the design.
