API 5L X60 Steel Plates

High-strength hot-rolled pipeline plate manufactured to the API 5L specification, X60 grade (line-pipe grade with minimum yield ~415 MPa). These plates are designed for use in demanding oil, gas and water transmission applications and for fabrication of welded pipeline sections.

Key features

• Conforms to API 5L X60 grade for line-pipe service; noted equivalent: GB/T 9711 415.
• High yield strength (approx. 415 MPa) and good weldability for submerged-arc (SAW), ERW and longitudinal welding processes.
• Supplied as hot-rolled flat plates suitable for spiral SAW, longitudinal SAW and ERW pipe manufacture, as well as pressured fluid transmission pipes for power plants, chemical plants and other industrial installations.
• Offered with factory processing options: plate cutting, rolling, weld-preparations and fabrication per customer drawings.
• Quality assurance: third-party inspection and testing available to EN or ASTM requirements on request.

• Plates are produced from high-grade raw materials and supplied hot-rolled. Custom processing (cut-to-size, edge prep, bending/rolling) can be provided to customer specifications.
• Third-party testing and mill certificates can be supplied to support procurement and regulatory compliance. Specify required inspection standard (EN, ASTM, etc.) when requesting a quotation.
