API 5L X42 Carbon Steel LSAW Pipes

API 5L X42 carbon steel LSAW pipes are longitudinally welded line pipes manufactured to API 5L for long‑distance onshore transportation of oil, gas and other fluids. These pipes are produced in X42 grade carbon steel and are available in multiple fabrication types (LSAW, SSAW, ERW, and seamless) to suit different project requirements.

• Pipe type: LSAW (longitudinal submerged-arc welded). Also available in ERW, SAW (SSAW) and seamless (SMLS) constructions on request

Mechanical and quality testing

• Technical tests: flattening, bending, hardness, hydrostatic pressure test (standard limit up to 20.7 MPa / 3000 psi), impact test, blow test
• Non-destructive testing: X-ray (RT) and external dimensional inspection

Packing and shipment

• Plastic plugs in both ends
• Hexagonal bundles (typical bundle weight ~2,000 kg) secured with steel straps
• Each bundle tagged; wrapped in waterproof paper, PVC sleeve and/or sackcloth for sea shipment

• Supplied by an ISO 9001:2008 certified exporter experienced in international shipments
• Manufactured and tested to meet API 5L requirements; additional certification and inspection documentation available on request
