ABS DH36 steel material

High-strength structural steel engineered for marine and heavy-structural applications. ABS Grade DH36 is specified for ship hulls, decks and other primary structural members where enhanced yield and toughness are required. Supplied in plates, sheets, bars and formed shapes, this grade is offered from stock and on production lead times to meet shipbuilding and offshore fabrication schedules.

• Supply forms: plate, sheet, bar and structural shapes; cut-to-size and edge-prepared on request.
• Thermal and mechanical processing options available by order and grade: normalization, control rolling, thermo-mechanical processing, or quenching and tempering where specified. (E, D, EH, FH, AH and DH series grades follow ABS processing requirements by thickness as ordered.)
• Mill Test Certificate (MTC) available on delivery.
