EN 10028 P460NH steel

High-strength pressure-vessel plate manufactured to EN 10028-3 for welded construction where high yield strength and good low-temperature toughness are required.

Key features

• Conforms to EN 10028-3 P460NH specification. Supplied in a normalized condition and produced as a fine-grain, weldable carbon-manganese steel for pressure equipment.
• Charpy V-notch impact requirement: transverse test at -20 °C with a minimum energy of 30 J (as required by the standard).
• Intended for welded pressure vessels, boilers, heat exchangers, storage tanks and other welded structural components exposed to moderate low-temperature conditions.
• Supplied with EN 10028-3 certification and mill test documentation; heat treatment and testing carried out to the standard's requirements.
