Compact, robust electric double-diaphragm transfer pump engineered for safe, leak-resistant transfer of a wide range of liquids across industrial processes. The motor drives two diaphragms through a gearbox to create alternating suction and discharge in the left and right pump chambers. Four one-way ball valves (two per chamber) open and close in sequence to produce continuous flow without shaft seals, minimizing leakage and maintenance.
Key features
- Diaphragm-driven reciprocating action for positive-displacement pumping and reliable self-priming (max. suction height: 5 m).
- Diaphragm materials available: neoprene, fluorine rubber, nitrile rubber — selectable for chemical compatibility and temperature resistance.
- Pump body / wetted-material options: cast iron, stainless steel, aluminum alloy, fluoroplastic or fluoroplastic-lined construction for aggressive media.
- Motor options: standard, explosion-proof, or speed-regulating (variable-speed) motors to match site and process requirements.
- Connection sizes: inlet/outlet from 10 mm up to 125 mm.
- Performance limits: maximum particle diameter 10 mm; maximum discharge pressure 0.3 MPa; service temperature up to 150 °C.
- Designed for long service life with minimal leakage and simple valve/diaphragm maintenance.
Typical applications
- Transfer of toxic, flammable or volatile liquids where leakage control is critical.
- Handling of strong acids, strong alkalis and highly corrosive chemicals (use appropriate diaphragm and body material).
- High-temperature fluids (up to 150 °C), hot-water recovery and circulation systems.
- Feed/pressurization for filter presses and other process equipment.
- Loading/unloading of oil tankers, depots and product transfer lines.
- Food-processing media such as kimchi, jams, mashed potatoes, chocolate, syrups and molasses (use food-grade elastomers and stainless wetted parts where required).
- Paints, adhesives, pigments, gums, latex, solvents, cement slurries, glazes and grout.
- Sewage, sludge, mining and tunnel dewatering where solids (up to 10 mm) are present.
Selection & installation notes
- Select diaphragm and pump-body materials based on fluid chemistry and operating temperature; consult material-compatibility data for aggressive or food-contact media.
- Confirm particle size, viscosity and required flow/pressure to size the pump and motor correctly.
- Explosion-proof motor options are available for flammable environments.
- Routine inspection of diaphragms and ball valves recommended to maintain peak performance and extend service life.
This electric double-diaphragm pump is offered with multiple material and motor configurations to suit chemical processing, food & beverage, petrochemical, municipal and mining applications where reliable, leak-minimized fluid transfer is required.
