BOPP film

High-performance biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) film engineered for packaging, printing and lamination applications. Supplied in a variety of surface finishes and functional treatments to meet flexible packaging, print lamination and converting requirements.

Key features

• Available surface types: plain (clear), pearl, matte, metallized, and heat-seal (one-side or two-side).
• Thickness range: 10–40 µm (commonly supplied 12–40 µm). Thickness tolerance ±3% (measured by β-ray gauge).
• Reel width: 150 mm up to 1,980–2,000 mm (maximum width 2,000 mm).
• Roll lengths: flexible lengths up to 6,000 m (standard options include 200 m, 500 m, 1,000 m, 2,000 m, 3,000 m, etc.).
• Good transparency and brightness (for high-quality print appearance).
• Low static, high tensile strength and excellent oil/grease resistance.

Applications

• Lamination with paper or paperboard to improve surface gloss and scuff resistance.
• Flexible packaging films, overwraps and printed film applications.
• Converting into bags, pouches and labels where heat-seal or metallized properties are required.
