High-strength chrome-moly seamless steel tubes manufactured to meet the needs of welded pressure equipment and elevated-temperature service. 13CrMo4-5 (EN grade) is a chromium-molybdenum alloy designed for welded boilers, pressure vessels and piping that operate at raised temperatures.

Key benefits

  • Engineered for elevated-temperature strength and creep resistance compared with plain carbon steels
  • Good weldability for fabrication of pressure vessels and boiler components
  • Improved resistance to corrosive and “sour” environments common in oil, gas and petrochemical service
  • Supplied as seamless tubes for superior integrity under pressure

Standards & compliance

  • Grade: 13CrMo4-5 (EN specification)
  • Manufactured and supplied in accordance with EN 10028-2 and EN 10216-2 technical delivery requirements (material testing, dimensional tolerances and inspection as specified by the standards)
