KCB gear oil pump

Durable, compact external-gear oil transfer pump designed for continuous service in industrial and marine environments. Available in two series to suit different safety and medium requirements:

• KCB series: fitted with an integrated safety (relief) valve. Standard version is suitable for transporting crude oil, diesel, lubricating oil and, when equipped with bronze gears, low-flash-point liquids such as gasoline and benzene. A high-temperature KCB variant (constructed from high-temperature materials) is available for media up to 300°C with a viscosity range of 5×10^-5 to 1.5×10^-3 m2/s.
• 2CY series: same gear-pump concept without a safety valve; widely used in lubrication systems. Cast-iron 2CY pumps handle lubricating oils with lower viscosity (specified below). Models with stainless-steel gears are suitable for edible oils and beverage service.

Performance & media

• Temperature: standard KCB/2CY service up to 70°C for common grades; special high-temperature KCB variants rated up to 300°C.
• Viscosity handling: ranges specified by model and material selection (see technical datasheet for model-specific curves).

Ordering & selection tips

• Specify required flow/pressure, operating temperature, and fluid viscosity when requesting a quotation.
• Indicate material preference (cast iron vs. stainless steel, bronze impeller vs. stainless) and whether an explosion-proof motor is required.
• Choose KCB when a built-in relief/safety valve is required; choose 2CY when a simpler configuration is acceptable.
