ASTM A299 Grade A Steel Plates

High-strength carbon-manganese-silicon steel plates for welded boilers and pressure equipment.

These plates are manufactured to ASTM A299 / ASME SA299 and are produced in two grades (A and B) for use in welded boilers, pressure vessels and other pressure-retaining components. Grade B offers higher yield and tensile strength than Grade A, making it suitable where greater mechanical performance is required.

• Mechanical Characteristics: Grade B has higher yield and tensile strength than Grade A (specify required mechanical properties in RFQ)

• Mill Test Certificate: EN 10204 (MTC) available on request
