ASTM A204 Grade B Boiler Steel Plate

ASTM A204 Grade B heavy plate is a molybdenum-alloy steel designed for welded boilers and other high-temperature, high-pressure vessels. It provides the elevated strength and toughness required for pressure-retaining components and is supplied in a furnace-normalized condition with required mechanical and impact testing.

• Conforms to ASTM A204 requirements for Grade B (also available in Grades A and C)

• Mechanical testing (tensile and yield) carried out to specification
• Charpy impact testing available at -20 °C and -46 °C
• Ultrasonic inspection possible per SA578 or to customer-specified NDT criteria
