Alloy for low-temperature casting composed primarily of tin with copper, antimony and lead. This pewter alloy is soft, malleable and silver‑white in appearance, with low chemical reactivity and a relatively low melting range (approximately 170–230 °C), making it well suited for hand and machine casting of decorative and precision small parts.

Key features:

  • Low melting point (approx. 170–230 °C) — reduces energy use and enables simple casting processes.
  • Good castability — captures fine detail in moulds for ornaments, figurines, badges, costume jewelry and decorative hardware.
  • Malleable and easy to file, polish and finish for aesthetic applications.

Typical applications:

  • Decorative castings and ornaments
  • Small-scale jewellery and costume accessories
  • Models, miniatures and prototypes
  • Components and finishes where a silver‑white look and easy machinability are required

Health & regulatory note:

  • The alloy contains lead. Verify suitability for contact with food, children's products or other regulated uses under your local and end‑market regulations. Use appropriate personal protective equipment and adequate ventilation when melting, casting or machining; follow applicable waste and environmental disposal rules.

Supply & specifications:

  • Supplied as raw alloy for melting and moulding. Typical commercial supply forms include ingots, shot or granules — confirm available form, exact composition and mechanical properties with the supplier before purchase.

For procurement, specify desired form, batch composition (tin/lead/antimony/copper percentages if required), melting profile and any certification or testing (e.g., RoHS/REACH statements) needed for your end use.
