Comertia is a business-to-business (B2B) platform that provides exposure and Internet marketing for the companies that show their products in Comertia.
When a Comertia visitor finds the product they need, they can send a request for quote (or request for information - RFI) to the company that published the product. From that moment, all the negotiations leading to a sale are made directly between the two interested parties, that is, between the seller who has published the product and the potential buyer who has found it in Comertia.
Our goal is that the companies that adverstise their products in Comertia.com receive many purchase orders through us.
2.- How much does it cost to publish my company and my products on Comertia?
Zero ($ 0.00), nothing!
3.- How much commission do you charge on the sale of my products?
Comertia does not charge commissions, nor does it act as an intermediary, nor does it charge for forwarding the requests that potential clients send to the sellers.
4 .- Will someone contact me if I publish my product on Comertia?
Like in a physical trading expo or a supermarket, that depends on the product, the price and the way you present them. If you follow our recommendations we help you present your product to millions of people who can search for it on the Internet. Additionally, we provide you with the place to show it and the mechanism to be contacted by potential clients. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that someone will be interested in your product, however we will do our best to show it to everyone who is looking for it.
5.- Can I put photos of my products?
Yes, and generally products with photos are more visited than those without photos.
6.- I have received an order, now what do I do?
Before committing to carry out a transaction, you should investigate by all possible means the integrity and reputation of the potential buyer, just as you would with anyone you meet online. You should consider using the help of a local trading agency, your local chambers of commerce, or other reputable trading entity that can help you. If you don't know how, or do not have the means to carry out a transaction safely, then it is better not to do so because you run the risk of being scammed and losing your merchandize or your money.
7.- In what language will potential buyers contact me?
It depends. All products published on Comertia are translated by the seller (or by us, automatically). It is possible that someone will be interested in your product and communicate using either English or Spanish. You will decide how to respond.
8.- Do I have to communicate with the potential client within the Comertia platform?
Communications are initiated through our platform at Comertia.com, but you can continue them directly. Once someone fills out a request for information about your product, we forward the request to you with all the data provided by the potential client so that you can respond directly by email, phone, etc.
9.- Are the requests received of type B2B or B2C?
We advertise our content with a B2B focus (Business to Business), but we don't close our doors to anyone. Sometimes, there are people who requests small quantities. It's up to you to decide the minimum size of the order that you can fulfill.
10.- Is it required that shipments be made via a specific courier?
No, the negotiations and sales are done outside of Comertia; you are free to use the shipping company or courier that suits you and the buyer.
11.- Does Comertia focus only on the United States or the world in general?
Approximately, a quarter of our users are from Spain, 50% from the Americas and the rest are from other countries.
12.- Can I publish more than one company in Comertia?
Yes, but you will need a different email address for each company. At this time we have no way of managing two companies with the same user account.
13.- Can I designate several employees to manage our company at Comertia?
Yes. Several employees of the same company can manage the company listing using different user accounts. To do this, you have to invite each person to join your company in Comertia. Look for the "invitations" section under your organization page. This feature is only visible when you are registered as the administrator for your organization's content at Comertia.
14.- Can I access, modify or delete my data?
Yes, you are the owner of your data. You can access all the data that you have published in Comertia, modify it, and even delete it permanently. Once deleted we cannot recover the data.
15.- If I don't want to continue being part of Comertia, how can I unsubscribe?
Inside "Modify account", look at the bottom of the page for the "Cancel account" button. Remember, once your account is deleted it cannot be recovered.
