A complete centrifugal-pump automatic water supply system engineered for stable, automatic pressurization of building and industrial water networks. The equipment combines centrifugal pump(s), a storage tank with vacuum eliminator, pressure sensing and control components, and associated piping and valves to deliver uninterrupted water supply and automatic pump operation when network pressure falls below set thresholds.
How it works
- Incoming mains (tap) water fills the storage tank while the vacuum eliminator vents trapped air. When the tank is full the air valve closes automatically.
- If mains pressure and flow meet demand, water is supplied directly to the network through the bypass/check valve without pump operation.
- When network pressure drops below the setpoint, the pressure sensor or controller sends a start signal to the pump(s) to restore required pressure.
- If the mains flow is lower than pump output, the tank acts as a buffer to maintain supply while the vacuum eliminator admits air to eliminate negative pressure and help the system return to normal operation.
Key components
- Centrifugal pump (single or multistage depending on system design)
- Storage tank with vacuum eliminator (air-release/anti-vacuum valve)
- Pressure sensor / pressure controller / electric contact pressure gauge
- Check (non-return) valve, gate valves, ball valves and pressure gauges
- Interconnecting piping and fittings
- Control and protection devices for automatic start/stop and safe operation
Applications
- Municipal and zone water supply, booster systems for high-rise buildings
- Industrial pressurization: cleaning, high-pressure flushing, process water systems, firefighting support
- Industrial liquid transfer: cooling circuits, HVAC, boiler feed/condensate systems, machine-tool coolant systems
- Water treatment: ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis, distillation and pool treatment systems
- Irrigation: sprinkler, drip and agricultural irrigation pumping
Advantages for B2B buyers
- Automatic, demand-driven operation reduces energy use and extends mains life
- Integrated buffering via tank ensures continuity during transient supply shortfalls
- Modular design supports customization and scaling for building, municipal or industrial projects
- Simple interface with common pressure controllers and site automation systems
Notes
- Final system configuration (pump size, motor rating, control logic, tank volume, materials) should be selected to match site duty, water chemistry and regulatory requirements. Commissioning and electrical hookup should be performed by qualified technicians.
